Policy Analysis and Research Initiative- PARI is a laboratory of ideas that aims to contribute in building a better and prosperous Bangladesh.

We would like to brainstorm ideas, facilitate dialogues, debate and discussion on policy issues that impacts the life and livelihood of people and all living beings.

 We particularly want to hear the unheard groups, want to bring their inputs in policy and decision making.

Aklima Ferdows

Director of Programs

Aklima Ferdows is a feminist activist and trainer in the field of human rights for more than 15 years. Her experience is 
rooted in advocacy for freedom of expression and protection of human rights defenders. Her expertise 
focuses on human rights training, research and intensively using the Human Rights Mechanisms, both 
at National and at the international level (UN Human Rights Council, Treaty Bodies, Special Procedures).
Aklima Ferdows was engaged in capacity building of media, civil society, rights organisations and 
marginalised groups etc. in Bangladesh. She studied Law ( LL.B. and LL.M.) and is a member of South 
Asians for Human Rights (SAHR).
